Born in New York and raised on western Long Island, Mike spent his youth going to NY Mets and Rangers games. Mike thought he was a pretty good baseball player until he moved to South Florida, where he was exposed as a complete fraud. Mike is a graduate of Syracuse University's Newhouse School; he spent four years calling games for SU Women's hoops and lax (including the longest game in the history of Syracuse women's lacrosse).
Mike has worked as a producer/host/reporter in New York and Syracuse before landing at ESPN 760. Mike has covered nearly every major South Florida team in some capacity, including the Florida Marlins and their entire 2007 season (about which he could have -- and should have -- written a book entitled, "The Fredi Gonzalez Experience"), various Florida Panthers games, various Miami Heat games, the University of Miami's 2005 home football season, several golf events and many others. You can catch Mike hosting the Sports Page every Saturday morning, as one of the voices on Palm Beaches GameDay and on SportsCenter updates throughout the week.
Mike currently resides in Delray Beach with his small black cat.
